“It depends”. That’s either the most frustrating answer you have ever received from a consultant, or the best answer, because it leaves space to think through the solution that will work best for your business.
Organizational life is complex, and rarely will a single solution tidily address an organizational challenge. The thing is … it’s never just one thing! But how then do you know which thing to start with? And how do you figure out where and how to invest your time and energy?
My primary ambition is to help clients find clarity on their organizational challenges so that they can focus on delivering on their business and customer objectives. With challenges that range all the way from corporate strategy down to individual employee issues, there is no single tool or framework that is right for every situation. What’s a good tool? It’s one that gets you from noise to clarity in the fewest steps and the least amount of suffering.
